近期經常利用社交網站發表立場的川普 (Donald Trump)，昨 (18) 日再度在個人 Twitter 留言批評中國「偷竊」美軍水下探測器，但他卻把「史無前例」(unprecedented）錯寫成「沒有總統的」(unpresidented)，遭不少「反川普」網民群起嘲諷。1 小時後，川普刪了貼文，並將錯字改正後重發一篇。

星島日報、香港文匯報報導，回應中美在南海的「探測器事件」，川普前天在他最愛用的 Twitter 上寫道：「中國竊取美國海軍在國際海域的研究用無人探測器，史無前例地將它取出水面，帶往中國。」

不過川普將「史無前例」(unprecedented) 錯寫成「沒有總統的」(unpresidented)，「沒有總統的」一詞瞬間成為 Twitter 最熱門話題，網民紛紛對這位不幸拼錯字的未來總統開炮。

有網友揶揄說：「親愛的世界，大多美國人很希望能夠沒有總統的。」

網民 Isaac Saul 說：「我試圖很努力地去支持這個即將就任的總統，但他的每一條貼文都讓他看起來似乎更加文盲和精神錯亂。」

民主黨籍聯邦參議員梅菲也說：「簡直瘋了，與中國的外交危機今天上午 7 時 30 分透過 Twitter 升溫，還出現錯字。」
